We offer a versatile space, including a secret walled garden and a private bar, alongside our dedicated events coordinator who will help plan your day for you from start to finish. No matter your style, whether it’s an intimate affair or a grand event, we’ll bring your wedding vision to life.

From your morning preparations to hanging up your party shoes at the end of the night, our unique bedrooms offer the perfect place to dream about how perfectly your special day went. We also offer exclusive hire of our 8 bedroom Georgian Townhouse across the road so you and your nearest and dearest can debrief and unwind to your heart’s content.

We are fortunate enough to carry a civil ceremony license so you can hold every moment of your special day under one roof.

Whilst you and your guests have a celebratory drink, our team transform the space ready for your wedding breakfast. Head chef Herbert has created menus with fresh, seasonal ingredients to complement your day beautifully.

Once the speeches are over, the food has been enjoyed and the cake has been cut, it’s time to dance the night away to your perfectly curated playlist or the sounds of your live band and enjoy the last moments of your day.

If you are wanting somewhere for your wedding party to stay all together, our gorgeous Georgian Townhouse is situated just across the Green, with a beautiful private courtyard and space for up to 16 adults and 5 children.

Aside from Vine House, we also have rooms in the main buildings for your guests to enjoy and share stories of the day  over breakfast the next morning.

Intimate Weddings

The Lodge not only complements larger weddings but also provides a cosy, welcoming space for intimate gatherings of up to 20 guests. With our bespoke packages, it’s a wonderful place to start your new chapter together.

Food Glorious Food

We know how important the food is on your special day which is why our Head Chef has created a seasonally updated, fresh menu to complement your day perfectly.

We can provide delicate canapes for guests when it’s time to mingle, a moreish, decadent 3 course wedding breakfast as well as the option of an evening buffet if you think you and your guests will get peckish from all that dancing.

The Important Bits

Can we have our ceremony at The Hoste?

Yes, absolutely, and there is no additional charge. However, you do need to book your registrar separately through the council.

Who do we liaise with?

We have an events team who will be available for meetings regularly and on hand to answer any questions that you might have.

Ceremony & Reception

Can we use external caterers?

Unfortunately not, but we do have an excellent kitchen team on site with a wide range of food options.

Can we decorate The Garden Room?

Of course, we just ask that nothing is permanent and that none of the decorations cause damage to the space.

Can we use real candles?

Yes, as long as they are contained in something.

Is there parking available?

Our parking is residents only, however there is a large amount of village parking and a pay and display car park in the village.

Do you have tastings?

As part of the wedding package we do offer a food tasting- one of our favourite parts of the planning!
